What kind of music genre would you say Ray Charles- for mama is?

Hi i was just listening to ray charles song for mama, and i think that its a very emotional and very beautiful song, and then i started to wonder now what kind of music genre would somebody put that in, i know its by ray charles, and that he makes many beautiful songs but what about this one, im not sure but if someone can give me some information on this matter or a website saying it i'd really appreciate it thanks!
